DILLARD, M. W. - Putnam

M.W. Dillard, 60, resident of Bristol but originally of Indiana where he was born in Putnam County in 1868 died yesterday in King’s Mountain Memorial Hospital of this city after a short illness. Mr. Dillard had lived in Bristol for a number of years and was a well known greatly respected citizen. Surviving the deceased are his wife, formerly Miss Kate Dillard, two small children and also three sisters and four brothers as follows: Mrs. TJ Kain of Bristol; Mrs. ER Amos of Logan, W. Va; Mrs. CO Murray of Boone Mill, Va; Oscar Dillard of Fort Brag, NC; Charles Dillard of Jackson, Mich; Earl Dillard and Wesley Dillard of Dayton, Ohio.  Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night. - kbz
